The award was presented at the Volcanic Plateau Master Plumbers Awards held at Rydges Rotorua on 10 October, an evening celebrating excellence, professionalism, and community spirit across the plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying industry. Winning this title again reflects our long-standing commitment to technical excellence, people-first leadership, and strong community values. For over 40 years, McBeth Plumbing & Gas has proudly served the Taupō region — and today, we continue to focus on innovation, staff wellbeing, and delivering high-quality service our customers can rely on. Alongside our company award, we were thrilled to see several of our team members recognised for their individual achievements: Theo Petrides – Most Outstanding Tradesperson (Non-Certifying) Recognised for his exceptional workmanship, problem-solving skills, and commitment to growth through his adult plumbing apprenticeship. Theo’s calm, professional approach and mentorship of apprentices make him an invaluable part of our team. Kevin Pitt – Contribution to the Industry A driving force behind quality and compliance, Kevin’s background in building and quantity surveying has strengthened systems across our business.
